The 1834 South Australia Act established a free colony in South Australia based on the principles of social reform, economic liberalism, religious freedom, voting rights for all and the Torrens Title system This project was a world leading entrepreneurial and social experiment of its time.
Our panel includes “Mr South Australia” Keith Conlon OAM, Dr Jeff Nicholas, author of Behind the Streets of Adelaide, Dr Judy Halliday, Chief Operating Officer - The Office of the Chief Entrepreneur and engineering historian Richard Venus. This fascinating journey illuminates the 185 year social and economic history of the State from 1836 to the new technology developments now driving an exciting future.
