Space Hackerthon

Stone & Chalk is sponsoring this year's Space and Innovation Hackathon, run by a team of students at the University of Adelaide (and our very own space intern, Isabella!), hosted over a weekend in our Launch Pad space.

It provides an opportunity for students to learn about the space industry through developing entrepreneurial ideas to solve problems within industry. Over 24 hours, students form teams, participate in workshops, develop ideas, receive mentorship, and present their ideas to a panel of judges for a range of prizes. The idea is that this experience funnels students into their own space startups, jobs in the space industry, or helps them build their network to start thinking about their careers post uni.

To support students through the program, there are opportunities for them to connect with mentors to share their ideas and work through any problems. This is where you come in! You can give as much or as little of your time as you like, and in turn get access to some of the top talent coming through University (predominantly with STEM degrees). Register your interest HERE
