You’ll hear from leading South Australian marketing specialists, as well as industry leaders who have successfully harnessed social media and other awareness techniques to raise profile. The Q&A style panel will feature:
Sarah Thomas, Executive Director of On Social, has more than 20 years consultancy experience in strategic communication, stakeholder and digital engagement. She is an experienced project and program director with expertise in leading high performing teams through digital transformation and disruption. Part of the KWP! Group, On Social is a team of creative, trusted and experienced social media specialists helping Australian brands build and connect with their audience online.
Jamie Scott, Managing Director of Showpony, has always loved advertising. After spending some time working at Grey Advertising in the 1990s, Jamie co-founded Showpony with copywriter Parris Mesidis. Showpony is now a leading creative agency with offices in Adelaide and Melbourne, a staff of 34 and a shelf full of awards from here and overseas that's helped build a reputation for creativity and effectiveness. Jamie is the co-president of the Adelaide Advertising and Design Club, on the board of Chiefs for Gender Equity and is a judge of the NY Festivals Awards.
Alice Fitch, Founder of Whola, is an expert in fashion wholesale with 10 years’ experience successfully growing fashion labels across Australia and internationally. During her years as founder at Alice in La-La Fashion Agency, Alice noted the unnecessary amount of work involved to complete wholesale purchases. She launched Whola in 2020 and it is now Australia's fastest growing B2B fashion wholesale platform, transforming the process for retailers in the industry.
Kelly Carpenter is Customer Experience Lead at Health Partners. In her years of experience across different creative sectors she’s taken audiences on emotional journeys in filmmaking, designed products fit-for-purpose in industrial design, and built customer relationships in start-ups. She believes a holistic, human-centred approach is the best way to achieve just about anything.
