Minister for Innovation and Skills David Pisoni will open this session, where we'll be connecting with leaders from some of South Australia's most successful creative businesses.

Tony Clark is the Managing Director of iconic South Australian visual effects firm Rising Sun Pictures (RSP). He has been pivotal in growing the company from a small facility in 1995 with four founders, to a multi-million dollar, award winning and internationally acclaimed business employing more than 170 people. Under his leadership, RSP has gathered critical acclaim, with Academy and BAFTA Award nominations, as well as a number of Australian business and export awards.

Catherine Hunter is Chairperson for the newly incorporated Fashion Industries South Australia (FISA). She began working in fashion at age 15 for a local fashion label specialising in designer leather and through this learnt about the accuracy of fit and cut. Continuing on to work for another Aussie icon, Cue Design, she evolved her love of linen and natural textiles. 20 years later after a corporate career in business and marketing she began HUNTRESS to offer a unique brand in her fashion and lifestyle store. Six years on it has become a national wholesale brand with a stand alone signature store.

Anthony Chhoy is the Co-CEO of Maker's Empire, an Adelaide-founded education technology start-up helping 2.25 million global students develop their creative confidence and design thinking skills. He has extensive experience leading, motivating and mentoring people in strategic planning and corporate development.

Dineth Abeynayake is the Founder, Director and Product Lead of Foxie Games. Founded in in 2017, Foxie specialises in building original, IAP driven Free to Play mobile games connecting players to their passions and hobbies. In 2019, Foxie ranked as the third fastest growing company in South Australia and in 2020 Dineth was featured as one of INDaily's Top 40 South Australian Entrepreneurs under 40.

Ian Murray is the CEO of 113 Partners, which he founded in 2012. 113 Partners is a strategic advisory firm that that assists businesses in the creative industries to grow, seek investment, and realise their value. They are advisers to some of Australia’s most cutting edge creative businesses and bring a wealth of insights, access to strategic partnerships, and on the ground experience to their clients.

Enjoy drinks and nibbles, ask questions of the panel during the formal session and then meet and network with fellow business owners from across the spectrum of the creative industries.
